Thai white Rice is mainly grown in the central part of Thailand. It is often referred to as polished or fully milled rice because the husk and bran are completely removed from the kernel. Thai white rice is generally of the long grain.

Thai Glutinous Rice is also known as sticky or sweet rice. The natural milky color is a main distinction. Glutinous rice is consumed in most of Asian countries. The most popular glutinous rice from 'Thailand is grown in the Northern.

Parboiled Rice is the only rice here that is precooked. It has a nutty scent when cooked with very firm texture, very good for frying rice in a hot pan.
Brown Rice is the husked but unmilled rice. It is high in nutritious  and fiber,  so 
brown rice is considered

The Thai Hom Mali Rice is the best and the most expensive rice of Thailand. It has been well known among local and high purchasing power foreign consumers in foreign markets. The Thai Hom Mali Rice is favorite among consumers because of its slender, lengthy, transparent and lustrously white reed which are the characteristics of the first grade rice. The rice is soft and scented after cooked. Thai Hom Mali Rice is the name generally called by consumers and rice traders. However, the word mutated from the formal Mali "White Rice 105" which originated in Bangclaw Sub-District of Chachengsaw Province. Later, the rice committee improved its breed and distributed it to farmers all over Thailand for plantation. The Thai Hom Mali Rice, which is commercially popular in the world market, comes from the lower area of the North Eastern part of Thailand. Every year the Internal Trade Department, Ministry of Commerce and the Rice Exports Association will arrange Thai Hom Mali Rice Contest in order to maintain its quality and value forever.
